We currently have an opening for an experienced Manufacturing Associate to help manufacture product as we grow to meet our customer’s needs.

The Manufacturing Associate is responsible for the manufacture of liquid dietary supplements utilizing PLC automation – operating equipment and regulating the manufacturing process.

Core responsibilities include:

  • Maintaining the cleanliness and general upkeep of the controlled work area
  • Cleaning the manufacturing and bottling equipment
  • Bottling of products – manually and operation of the automated bottling line equipment
  • Problem-solving to maintain manufacturing process consistency, efficiency, and operational standards

Qualifications:

Required education and experience:

  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • 1yr experience in food, pharmaceutical or dietary supplement manufacturing

Preferred education and experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in chemistry, science, engineering or related field
  • 1-2yrs experience in food, pharmaceutical or dietary supplement manufacturing
  • Experience working in a clean room setting
  • cGMP experience - following SOP’s
  • Experience with Batch records

The QA Specialist II position is responsible for all activities involving quality assurance and compliance with applicable FDA cGMP requirements, conducts investigations, reviews/analyzes data and documentation, and supports the Manufacturing function through various QA tasks.

Essential Functions:

  • Review and Approval of Document Change Requests as needed
  • Trend analysis, including but not limited to: Deviation Reports, test data, etc.
  • Vendor Approval/Qualification program
  • Auditing, Internally and Externally - as required
  • Material Review Board (MRB) meeting support
  • Provide back-up support for QA Manufacturing support team, including but not limited to:
    • cGMP New Employee training and setting up cGMP personnel employee files
    • Deviation Report logging, investigations and trend analysis
    • Finished Product sampling
    • Printing product test results for Batch Records and saving to server
    • Batch Record review
    • Release to inventory by comparing to Specifications
    • Instrument calibration in support of Manufacturing
  • Provide coaching, training and interaction with new and/or junior QA staff and other cGMP employees
  • Other QA tasks as required

The QA Specialist I (2nd shift)position is responsible for all activities involving quality assurance and compliance with applicable FDA cGMP requirements, conducts investigations, reviews/analyzes data and documentation, and supports the Manufacturing function through various QA tasks.

Essential Functions:

  • Line Start-Up, Line Shutdown
    • Checking and documenting that the correct materials are in place for production
    • Ensuring that part and lot numbers are correctly reflected on Manufacturing paperwork
    • Ensuring that equipment is clean, calibrated and ready for use in production
    • Ensuring that no materials, extraneous to the job at hand, are in the room
  • In-Process Quality Checks
    • Volume, torque, label aesthetics and others
  • Finished Product sampling
  • Batch Record review
  • Release to inventory by comparing to Specifications
  • Monthly inventory of controlled labels and reconciliation of Label Accountability documents/records
  • Instrument calibration in support of Manufacturing
  • Other QA tasks as required

The Shipping Associate position is primarily responsible for packing finished orders for shipment to customers, following all company safety protocols.

Responsibilities:

  • Boxing and shipping products
  • Assembly of kits and product bundles
  • Cross check orders in system to ensure accuracy
  • Process orders based on customer specific shipping method
  • Assembly of large orders on pallets
  • Inventory counts as needed
  • Repeated lifting of items up to 50 pounds
  • General cleaning and upkeep of the controlled work area

The ideal candidate will have some shipping and assembly experience, very strong attention to detail and excellent organization skills. Good communication skills (verbal and written), ability to work well with others, and versatility and willingness to accommodate various daily tasks are a requirement.

The work environment is professional yet relaxed, allowing for advancement to the hardworking and ambitious.

Hours/Schedule: Full-time, Monday-Friday 8am-5pm with flexibility for overtime as needed

The Senior Graphic Designer) will work collaboratively with Marketing Management to conceptualize and design print and digital marketing materials. They will also be responsible for managing the time lines to ensure that all design, layout and production deadlines are met.

Core responsibilities include:

  • At the direction of the CMO, create new and original designs based on marketing needs and brand image. Materials include, but are not limited to: catalogs, labels, brochures, point of purchase materials, digital design, print advertisements, trade show booth graphics, etc.
  • Collaborate with Marketing Communications Coordinator – Collateral, to ensure all materials ordered arrive in agreed upon time and meet our quality standards.
  • Create and maintain files for all creative assets and resources; such as software, art materials, and special fonts, which are needed for record keeping and referencing.
  • Evaluate and manage production resources to enhance high productivity and allocations.
  • Work with Marketing Communications Coordinator – Content, to develop creative materials for marketing campaigns - to include print advertising, email marketing, digital campaigns, website creative and other creative assets.
  • Supervise any outside design resources, as needed, to maximize creativity and excellence in performance and delivery.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s Degree in Graphic Design or related field with at least 5 years’ experience in related function in an agency or internal marketing communications department. Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, etc.) and other design programs, and in MS Office Suite.

The Independent Sales & Merchandising Representative is an independent consultant opportunity and would work remotely servicing retail customers in the Southern California area. The role would be responsible for managing relationships with buyers at the store level, account training, in-store product demonstrations and merchandising product in stores.

Core responsibilities include:

  • Increase portfolio of brands’ presence, visibility and sales in the health food and juice market in Southern California through daily visits to accounts.

The Category Manager-Consumer Marketing will be responsible for developing and managing marketing, product and sales strategies for assigned category - working with the CMO for all activities associated with the consumer business. Success is measured by implementation of the plan, and growth in revenue and profitability over a planned period.

Core responsibilities include:

  • Management of assigned category portfolio, including evaluation of product line extensions, marketing and sales plan development and execution.
  • Development of a formalized process that gives quantifiable reasons to implement category products and programs.
  • Responsible for meeting sales goals and profitability, revenue and marketing category budget.
  • Responsible for introducing, on schedule and on budget, competitive programs that meet or exceed market expectations.
  • Participation as a key member of corporate team through the concept, development, implementation and market introduction for the consumer category.
  • Responsible for sharing, with all stakeholders, features, benefits and performance data to develop accurate, compelling marketing materials.
  • Responsible for collaborating with product development team to sustain core product lines to adapt to market change or to penetrate new markets and address competitive offerings.
  • Recommend programs and promotional activities to strengthen market position for sustained product lines.
  • Develop and maintain product/category marketing plan and roadmaps on key products. Coordinate product planning inputs with strategic and business plans.
